DARTS has been so many different things to me: teacher and tormentor, hobby and vocation, disappointment and excitement, but one thing is for certain: it's been no small part of my life the last eight plus years. In this little history is a brief documentation of the trials, failures, and successes I and my colleagues have had in this quest.
As of May 1, 1999, I have ceased to work on DARTS. In my mind, it is no longer an active project. Perhaps some of the technologies that I have learned about will become part of other proects. However, DARTS itself has drawn to a close, a victim of its own ambitious nature.
I would like to say a hearty thank you to all those who have contributed to this project over the years. If I try to name them all, inevitably I will leave some out. You know who you are. Thanks for the education.
